Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Drain the pasta and set aside, optionally drizzling with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  5. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  6. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Gradually add the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  9. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  10. Toss the drained fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  11. Fold in the crispy bacon pieces evenly throughout the pasta.
  12. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  13. Serve the pasta onto plates or bowls.
  14. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and additional cheese if desired.
  15. Serve hot and enjoy the rich, creamy flavors!

Notes

  • Consider adding sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for a healthier twist.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • This dish can be made ahead; reheat gently on the stove, adding a splash of cream or milk if needed.
