Ingredients
- Hearty sourdough or ciabatta bread
- Ground beef
- Fresh champignon mushrooms
- Fresh garlic
- Mozzarella cheese
- Cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley
- Unsalted butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Start by finely chopping the mushrooms, garlic, and parsley. Set them aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped mushrooms and garlic into the skillet with the beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mushrooms have released their moisture and softened.
- Add salt, pepper, and half of the chopped parsley. Mix well and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors together.
- While the beef mixture is simmering, preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Slice your bread into thick pieces and lay them on a baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice.
- Spoon the beef and mushroom mixture generously onto the unbuttered side of each toast. Top with a generous amount of cheese.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle the remaining fresh parsley over the top for a pop of color and flavor.
- Serve your Crispy Cheese Beef Mushroom Garlic Toasts hot, with a side of marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce, if desired.

Keywords: Don’t overcrowd the skillet when cooking the beef mixture. Experiment with different types of cheese for added flavor, and consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. These toasts pair wonderfully with a light salad or soup.
