  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of crispy bread topped with savory beef, melty cheese, and earthy mushrooms, all enhanced by aromatic garlic. Perfect for any gathering or as a satisfying snack, these toasts are sure to impress!

Ingredients

  • Hearty sourdough or ciabatta bread
  • Ground beef
  • Fresh champignon mushrooms
  • Fresh garlic
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley
  • Unsalted butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by finely chopping the mushrooms, garlic, and parsley. Set them aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chopped mushrooms and garlic into the skillet with the beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mushrooms have released their moisture and softened.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and half of the chopped parsley. Mix well and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors together.
  5. While the beef mixture is simmering, preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Slice your bread into thick pieces and lay them on a baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice.
  7. Spoon the beef and mushroom mixture generously onto the unbuttered side of each toast. Top with a generous amount of cheese.
  8. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Once out of the oven, sprinkle the remaining fresh parsley over the top for a pop of color and flavor.
  10. Serve your Crispy Cheese Beef Mushroom Garlic Toasts hot, with a side of marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce, if desired.
