Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well combined and set aside.
- Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds for a milder flavor. If you prefer more heat, you can leave some seeds in.
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, filling them generously.
- Take a strip of puff pastry and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeno, starting from one end and spiraling to the other. Pinch the edges to seal the filling inside.
- Place the wrapped jalapeno poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one for even baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
