  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

Transform your hot dog experience with these Beef Bacon Cheddar Ranch Hot Dog Buns, featuring a delightful blend of smoky beef bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and zesty ranch seasoning. Perfect for barbecues or weeknight dinners, these buns are a flavor explosion that will leave everyone wanting more.

Ingredients

  • Hot Dog Buns (soft, top-split or side-split)
  • Beef Hot Dogs (all-beef, uncured)
  • Beef Bacon (6-8 slices, cooked and crumbled)
  • Cheddar Cheese (sharp or medium, shredded)
  • Ranch Dressing (bottled or homemade)
  • Butter (melted)
  • Optional Garnishes (fresh chopped chives or green onions)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cook beef bacon slices until crispy and crumble them into small bits. Shred your cheddar cheese if not done already.
  2. Open your hot dog buns carefully. Brush the inside surfaces with melted butter, optionally mixed with garlic powder.
  3. Drizzle a thin layer of ranch dressing inside each bun, then sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese over the ranch. Add the crispy crumbled beef bacon on top.
  4. If desired, insert a cooked hot dog into the bun before baking, then gently close the bun.
  5. Arrange the filled buns on the baking sheet and bake for about 8-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the buns are lightly golden.
  6. If you baked the buns without the hot dogs, tuck a pre-cooked hot beef hot dog into each bun after removing them from the oven.
  7. Drizzle with extra ranch dressing and sprinkle fresh chopped chives or green onions on top. Serve immediately while hot.
