Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
- 4 cups cold water
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
- Optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
- In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Stir well to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.
- Cover the jar or pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap. Let it steep in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
- After steeping, strain the coffee using a fine-mesh strainer or coffee filter over another pitcher or bowl. Discard the coffee grounds.
- You should have about 4 cups of cold brew concentrate. Store any leftover cold brew in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- In a medium bowl, add the creamy peanut butter. If too thick, microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften.
- Add the milk of your choice to the peanut butter.
- Add the sweetener, adjusting based on your preference.
- Add the vanilla extract and blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if necessary.
- In a large glass, fill halfway with ice cubes.
- Pour about 1 cup of cold brew concentrate over the ice.
- Add the peanut butter mixture, starting with 1/4 cup, and stir well to combine.
- Top with whipped cream for an extra special touch.
- Sprinkle chocolate shavings or cocoa powder on top for added flavor.
- Enjoy your Peanut Butter Cold Brew with a straw or spoon!
