  • Yield: 8 servings

Description

Experience the magic of winter with this enchanting Sparkling Frozen Snowball Winter Punch! It’s a delightful blend of creamy snowballs and effervescent juices that will impress your guests at any holiday gathering.

Ingredients

  • High-quality vanilla ice cream
  • Unsweetened cranberry juice
  • White grape juice
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Whole cinnamon sticks
  • Star anise
  • Whole cloves
  • Sparkling white grape juice
  • Ginger ale or lemon-lime soda (clear variety)
  • Fresh cranberries
  • Thinly sliced oranges
  • Sprigs of fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prepare your frozen snowballs by scooping generous portions of vanilla ice cream onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 3-4 hours or overnight until firm.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine unsweetened cranberry juice, white grape juice, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Add whole cinnamon sticks, star anise, and whole cloves. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes to infuse flavors. Strain out the spices and cool the punch base completely before refrigerating for 2-3 hours.
  3. Just before serving, pour the chilled punch base into a large punch bowl.
  4. Gently pour in sparkling white grape juice and ginger ale (or lemon-lime soda) down the side of the bowl to minimize fizz loss. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Add the frozen snowballs to the punch bowl and garnish with fresh cranberries, thinly sliced oranges, and sprigs of rosemary. Serve immediately.
