- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry flavored gelatin mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Crush the pretzels in a large Ziploc bag or food processor until you have fine crumbs with a few larger pieces.
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels with the granulated sugar. Pour in the melted butter and mix well.
- Press the pretzel mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a medium heatproof bowl, dissolve the gelatin mix in 1 cup of boiling water, then stir in 1 cup of cold water. Set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Once the gelatin mixture has cooled and is just starting to thicken, fold it into the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture.
- Gently fold in the chopped fresh strawberries.
- Spread the strawberry fluff mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
