  • Yield: 2 servings

Description

The Turkey Avocado Club Wrap is a flavorful and satisfying meal that combines all the classic club sandwich ingredients into a portable wrap. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or a light dinner, bursting with fresh flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • Flour Tortillas (large, 10-12 inch)
  • Deli Turkey Breast (thinly sliced, oven-roasted or smoked)
  • Beef Bacon (crispy, pan-fried or oven-baked)
  • Ripe Avocado (mashed or sliced)
  • Lettuce (crisp, like romaine hearts or iceberg)
  • Tomato (ripe, juicy, thinly sliced)
  • Mayonnaise (your favorite brand)
  • Red Onion (optional, thinly sliced)
  • Cheese (optional, like cheddar, provolone, or Swiss)
  • Sprouts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Bacon: Cook the bacon to your desired crispiness in a skillet over medium heat or bake it in the oven. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
  2. Prep the Avocado: Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Mash lightly with a fork and season with salt and lime or lemon juice.
  3. Chop Your Veggies: Wash and dry the lettuce, shredding or tearing it into smaller pieces. Thinly slice the tomato and red onion if using.
  4. Lay Out the Wrap: Place one tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  5. Spread the Foundation: Spread 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise over the tortilla, leaving an inch clear around the edges.
  6. Layer the Ingredients: Start with a layer of lettuce, then add turkey, mashed or sliced avocado, crispy bacon, and sliced tomato. Add any optional ingredients like cheese or red onion.
  7. Fold and Roll Tightly: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the edge closest to the filling, tucking in as you go.
  8. Slice and Serve: Slice the wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
