Instructions

- In a separate bowl, beat 1 cup of softened unsalted butter with 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of molasses until light and fluffy.
- Mix in one egg until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
- Scoop about a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Use your thumb or the back of a spoon to create a small indentation in the center of each cookie.
- Spoon in your cranberry jam into each indentation, filling it generously.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
