These Apple Pie Rice Krispie Treats combine the classic chewy, buttery Rice Krispies with the comforting flavors of apple pie. Each bite is a delightful blend of crunchy and gooey, perfect for autumn gatherings.

- 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
- 5 cups rice cereal
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Start by reserving 1/2 heaping cup of the mini marshmallows and set them aside for later.
- In a large pot, add the remaining marshmallows along with 2 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once melted, remove the pot from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of apple pie spice.
- Pour in 5 cups of rice cereal and gently stir until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the reserved marshmallows to the mixture and fold them in gently.
- Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared pan and lightly press it down into an even layer.
- Leave the treats at room temperature to set for at least 30 minutes.
- Once set, drizzle 1/4 cup of caramel sauce over the top.
