- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 8 slices)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (seeds removed)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Chips, crackers, or fresh veggies for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Make sure it’s at room temperature; this will make it easier to mix.
- Next, add the sour cream and mayonnaise to the bowl.
- Using a hand mixer or a whisk, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise together until the mixture is smooth and well combined (about 2-3 minutes).
- Once the base is smooth, sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix again until evenly distributed.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the crumbled bacon, ensuring it’s crispy and cooled.
- Dice the tomatoes (removing seeds) and gently fold them into the mixture.
- Add the chopped green onions and mix gently.
- Using a spatula, gently fold all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl or an airtight container. Cover it with plastic wrap or a lid.
- Place the dip in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or longer for enhanced flavors).
- Remove the dip from the refrigerator and stir to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
- Transfer any leftover dip to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir before serving again.
