Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 packs of instant ramen noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Add the chicken pieces, tossing them to coat thoroughly. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the chicken.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once the oil shimmers, add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set it aside on a plate. In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
- Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth and bring it to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of paprika, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
- While the sauce is simmering, cook 2 packs of instant ramen noodles in a separate pot according to the package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the creamy sauce, tossing to coat them evenly. If the sauce seems too thick, you can add a splash of water or more chicken broth.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss everything together until well combined. Let it heat through for about 1 minute.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions.
