Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags (or your preferred tea)
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup fresh peaches, sliced (peeled if desired)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Lemon slices (from 1 lemon)
- Orange slices (optional, from 1 orange)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Extra raspberries and peach slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by boiling 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Wait until the water reaches a rolling boil, which typically takes about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 4 black tea bags. Steep the tea for 5 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t over-steep to avoid bitterness. You’ll know it’s ready when the tea has a rich, dark color.
- After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Mix until the sugar is completely dissolved. If you prefer a sweeter drink, taste and add more sugar as needed.
- Next, add the 1/2 cup of fresh raspberries and 1/2 cup of sliced peaches to the tea mixture. Allow the fruit to steep in the hot tea for an additional 10 minutes to infuse their flavors.
- While the tea is cooling, prepare the lemonade. In a separate pitcher, mix 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- After the tea has cooled to room temperature, strain it through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher with the lemonade. Discard the fruit solids or blend them into a puree for extra flavor. Feel free to add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract at this stage if you want to elevate the flavor.
- Pour in 4 cups of cold water and stir to combine everything evenly. This will help dilute the mixture and balance the flavors.
- Refrigerate the beverage for at least 1 hour to chill. The longer it sits, the more the flavors meld together, enhancing the overall taste.
- When ready to serve, pour the iced tea lemonade into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with lemon and orange slices, fresh mint leaves, and extra raspberries and peach slices for a beautiful presentation.
- Enjoy your Raspberry Peach Iced Tea Lemonade with Citrus Slices on a hot day or at your next gathering!

Keywords: To avoid a bitter taste, be mindful of the steeping time for your tea. Set a timer for exactly 5 minutes; if you steep it longer, the tea may become overly astringent.
